“Eicher Motors / Royal Enfield is a structurally exceptional business — dominant brand moat, ~90% segment share, debt-free balance sheet, 30%+ ROCE, and an owner-operator with a proven two-decade compounding record — but at 35x trailing earnings and ~64x trailing FCF, the stock prices in most of the upside with minimal margin of safety. Base-case 10-year returns of ~10% are adequate but not compelling, and the bear case (EV disruption or brand derating compressing multiples) offers little protection. The business deserves a spot on every long-term investor's watchlist; the stock deserves patient waiting for a better entry in the ₹5,000–5,400 range.”
